Ancient Rustic African Carnelian, Brass & Carved Jade Amulet Necklace

This ancient looking necklace could have just been unearthed at an excavation site or borrowed from a museum exhibit! Rustic and soulful, this exotic necklace features old African carnelian trade beads of different shapes and sizes that beautifully show their age and use. I included a couple old bauxite pipestone beads from Ghana, an ornately carved Tibetan bead, African brass, a gold leaf and clay buddha bead and a stunning hand carved jade dragon medallion.

This one-of-a-kind piece of artisan jewelry measures about 16" in length and has a 4" extender. The pendant portion is 4.5" long.
