African Lime Green Dogon Glass, Ebony Wood & Tribal Horn Necklace

$275.00

Salonga:

Filled with the soul of Africa, this exotic tribal style necklace is an awesome modern tribal necklace that is a definite head turner and conversation started! These amazing lime green beads are Venetian glass trade beads that are worn by the Dogon tribe in Mali. The black beads are ebony wood with a silver inlay, and made by the Tuareg people in Mali as well. The horn pendant is Tibetan and has a fun tribal black and white pattern and the single batik bone bead is from Kenya. There is a bronze Spanish cross button that is cast right here in Arizona and it closes with a copper lobster clasp.

I guess I am very inspired by lime green right now as I just created the exotic CONGO Necklace yesterday, naming it for the Congo Basin rainforests. Salonga National Park is deep inside the Democratic Republic of Congo and is Africa's largest tropical rainforest reserve.

This one-of-a-kind artisan necklace is about 19" in length with a 4" extender.
