Vintage Berber Amber Resin and Moroccan Silver Hamsa Pendant Necklace
Hamsa Necklace:
I just created this bold ethnic, Moroccan style necklace after being inspired with a custom design I was working on. Wow! It turned out magnificently, filled with the soul of Berber Morocco and the Middle East. I found these stunning vintage copal amber resin beads from a Russian bead collector in St. Petersburg and these phenomenal sterling silver hamsas are all handmade in Morocco. These are a mix of vintage and newly made replicas, but all made in the traditional style, with intricate engravings and wonderful detail.
The Hamsa or Hand of Fatima is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolizing the Hand of God and it is used as protection against the Evil Eye. It is supposed to bring happiness, luck, health and good fortune to the wearer.
This is a one-of-a-kind museum-quality necklace and truly a piece of art to wear! You will feel like you are wearing an ancient artifact when you wear this intriguing Moroccan-inspired necklace.
I have also created a matching Berber Bracelet and Berber Earrings, so be sure to check those out as well.
It closes with a lobster clasp and measures 20" in length, with a 4" extender chain.
