Praia Da Marinha:
I have always loved the surf and sand, ocean and beach, blue and brown color scheme and I had some of these beads laying out on my table and this beautiful necklace just kinda made itself! Beautiful lighter blue "turquoise" stones, teal faceted Czech glass, exotic burnt horn from the Philippines, African brass and a one-of-a-kind carved jade pendant make up the palette for this fabulous and versatile necklace.
I have had Portugal on my mind lately...I don't know why. It just popped in my head as maybe a place I would like to live one day, so I have started looking into it as I have never been. And I am loving it! The colors in this necklace remind me of the colors on the rocky cliff side beach along the Algarve Coast, the Praia da Marinha.
I have made some super fun and summery earrings to go with it as well so be sure to check them out. These colors would be great in a bracelet too...I haven't made one yet, but certainly can, so let me know if you would like one to go.
