This enchanting Chinese-inspired necklace is a simple, but bold and beautiful palette of green rhyolite stone, African brass and a fascinating old nephrite jade carving. Jade is a very important part of China's history and culture; it is called the Emperor's Stone and has been a symbol of status, spirituality, health and purity for over 9,000 years. Jade carvings were used by the royal families in decorating, furnishings, ceremonies and jewelry and by 3,000 BC, it became known as yu or the royal gem. Hence my name for the necklace. At any rate, it's quite fascinating!

Beautiful large rhyolite gemstones, also known as rainforest jasper, have all of the same colors of the jade amulet, but just with lighter overall color. They go so perfectly together! Each one of these beads is unique and each one a miniature piece of nature's artwork.
