Queen of Sheba:
I love the combination of browns and blues, especially tortoiseshell and turquoise! This fantastic statement necklace is a stunning combination of brown and white crackled agate and beautiful window cut Picasso turquoise Czech glass. I used golds and bronzes to keep this piece warm and earthy and sunshiny. Although this piece would be perfectly fabulous for summer styles and resort wear, I designed it for the cooler fall and winter season. Just picture this with the winter whites, caramels, browns and bronzes of winters wardrobe. It will give your outfit just the boost of color it needs!
I named this Queen of Sheba after finding out that actual tortoiseshell products (before they were banned) mostly came from the Hawksbill Sea Turtle. The picture I saw was taken near the island of Saba in the Caribbean which was named after the Queen of Sheba, Sheba meaning morning.
