Yellow is such a happy, sunshiny color and living in the desert in the summer, I am getting nonstop sunshine!! If you thought there was no such thing as too much sunshine...well let me tell you, there is!! Anyhow I have been inspired by the desert landscape and wildflowers and sunsets and the sun itself! So I pulled out some of my yellow beads and was inspired to combine them with these fantastic black and white batik animal print bone beads and horn pendant, and WOW! I'm loving this happy, inspired collection!
If you have followed my jewelry for while, you will know I love giraffes and all things African and the only place where giraffes naturally live is in sub-Saharan Africa so this exotic jewelry collection is African-inspired and I thought Savannah would be a great name for it!
This original and soulful collection features faceted yellow jade, rustic African yellow glass, hand-carved clay, vintage German acrylic beads, batik black and white bone beads from Kenya, a Tibetan giraffe print horn pendant, an African brass rectangle charm and mustard krobo beads from Ghana.
This spectacular necklace is about 19" in length.
