Blue Chrysocolla, Turquoise Brass & Ethiopian Cross Statement Necklace
Blue Nile Falls:
Beautiful turquoise blue wearable art necklace. Make a statement on your next island cruise with this theatrical multi-strand necklace! With a simple and bold color scheme of blues, golds and silvers, you can wear this piece all year round! And it can easily be dressed up or down depending on your need. Wear it poolside or lounging for the casual look, or dress it up for dinner or a party with a white, black or blue dress. Even wear it to work with a gold blouse or sweater. You can't go wrong with this fabulous necklace! The silver pendant is an Ethiopian coptic cross. These are handmade in Africa, usually out of old Maria Theresa dollars. The swirl fringe charms are handmade in Greece where the swirl is usually square, called meandros (aka Greek Key), and is a symbol for eternity. I named this Blue Nile Falls because of the cascading blues in the necklace and because the pendant is from Ethiopia, as are the Falls. I originally made this necklace as a custom piece and made this exotic Intrigue Bracelet and these Earrings to go with it.
Length: 17" + 5" extender
