Packaging and Gifts
Wooden Boxes
The quality and uniqueness of our packaging matches that of our jewelry. All of our one-of-a-kind pieces and most of our regular jewelry line will come packaged in an awesome custom-made wood box that we have had specially designed in Canada for XO Gallery. These boxes are individually handmade from pine, stained with an antique finish, and then branded with our logo. The earthy boxes harmonize wonderfully with our jewelry, being both rugged and elegant at the same time. The packaging type is listed with each piece of jewelry.
Recycled Paper Boxes
Our XO Everyday line as well as other select pieces will come in elegant recycled paper boxes and custom satin pouches. All of these are gift-ready, wrapped with ribbon and a card is included.
Handmade Cushions
Our wooden boxes come with a plush cushion that we make ourselves. We use a variety of top quality fabrics, most commonly micro suede and velvet. The fabrics are chosen to complement each individual piece of jewelry. The cushions are specifically made to accompany the jewelry box and are filled with bean bag type filling. If you choose to use them for any other purpose, please keep in mind that they cannot be washed, only surface wiped.
Keep It Forever
Every piece of jewelry will also come with a mini brochure that serves as the tag. This will have a picture of the piece of jewelry along with the name and description as seen on the website. A sealable plastic bag will be provided containing an anti-tarnish tab that will help to slow the tarnishing process. This tab can protect your piece for up to two years if kept in the sealed bag provided or another airtight container. Much of the jewelry at XO Gallery is purposefully oxidized to add to the rugged and exotic style, and many of the pieces that originally have shiny silver will look just as good when tarnishing occurs. However, if you want your piece to stay shiny and polished, keep it in the bag provided, keep it free from perfumes, cosmetics, salt water and household chemicals, and gently polish it regularly. There are many types of polishing cloths available for this specific use.
An Instant Gift
Each and every package we send out is wrapped with raffia, linen cord, or a ribbon; a gift card is attached. If you are sending jewelry as a gift, we will include a message of your choice on the attached card. You can provide any gift information upon checkout.
