Artisan Passion-Filled Colorful Silver Heart Charm Bracelet

Lush and vivid, this passionate bracelet is filled with the energy and soul of love and the brilliant colors of life. The fabulous heart charm is a distinct piece of artwork handmade by the Karen Hill Tribe people of Northern Thailand. Most of the silver components designed by the Karen Hill Tribe are made of 99% pure silver and each bead is individually handmade. The beads are made in their villages completely by hand using traditional silversmithing methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Much of the village is involved in the beadmaking process, as this artwork is what is sustaining the Karen Hill Tribe people. The recent interest in their silverwork has enabled them to rely mainly on their traditional craftmaking and silversmithing abilities rather than having to look for work in the city. 

The six strands of the bracelet include amber, fuschia, and turquoise mother of pearl coins, bright red and lime green Czech glass beads, and twisted tiger eye rectangles. The brilliance and elegance of the rich hues of the mother of pearl and glass beads is balanced by the deep, earthy tones of the tiger eye and brown tone glass beads. A unique antique silver-coated terra cotta bead and sterling silver ring end each side of the bracelet. The addition of a single Grecian pueblo style terra cotta bead makes for a slightly asymmetrical but balanced piece of jewelry. 

This magnificent bracelet closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp and will be adjusted to fit your wrist size. The clasp will vary from bracelet to bracelet but will be equally stunning!
