This funky tactile link bracelet is a fun to wear piece of jewelry that can be used throughout the year. It is especially perfect for a resort vacation or a trip to the beach, but put it on in fall and winter too and watch it bring some sunshine to your day. It is composed of unique and exotic handmade components from around the world including oval links of red agate, a ceramic cast Celtic knot link, a maple wood ring and a painted bone hairpipe bead from the Philippines. A beautiful lime green tagua nut pendant carved with an intricate spiral design is added as a charm to this earthy bracelet. A tagua nut is a seed that comes from the tagua palm tree (also called ivory nut palm) most commonly from Ecuador, South America. This nut is used as an ivory substitute and interestingly enough, this is what most buttons were made out of before the advent of plastic.
